Fourth Blast

As you know from day one, Devilene, ExitZero and me stayed up the whole night, trying to act like the superheroes we are 8D How to Train Your Dragon, unfortunately finished at 6am where the sun there had already risen like it is 9am. By the time the clock struck 7am, three of us scouted and refreshed two bikes and took it out into a nearby park to play badminton. Man, it was awhsum to finally feel the wind on my face once again when I cycled. Yes, it is dat long that I have not had a chance to cycle. I was so desperate for my childhood that I even got onto one of the swings and started... swinging. No pictures because I had transformed into a kid and no longer a photographer (wannabe) ;D

^End result of our badminton game 8D

Once everyone had arose and gotten ready, we set off to our destination...

^ Jesselton Point

Where we had to buy boats to get us to our REAL destination: Manukan Island ;D Manukan, to Devilene's and to most-of-the-peepal-who-had-once-been-there-before's memories, is one of the most beautiful island in Sabah. A place where photographers and a wannabe like me would have really love to stalk 8D

^ The beautiful side of Manukan.

In general cities are known to have its beautiful side and its ugly side which unfortunately, applies to Manukan as well. Sure the pictures you have seen above tells you roughly how the island is SUPPOSED to be but in reality = total sadfaceness. Like every other island in Malaysia, there is a borderline set to how far we can actually swim so we don't get eaten by sharks or die drowning. Same goes for Manukan. However, what we discovered in Manukan's borderline is... rubbish. Lots and lots of rubbish. And all types as well, from plastic bags to durian to diapers and to rice bag. And to think that we have to pay to get into the island and to be expected to enjoy the scenery of rubbish and dumps? Yah ryte.

So thanks to that horrible discovery, we started going all out picking up rubbish from the sea. Yes, we are fellow awesome possum samaritans GWAR! Fear us, you goddamn rubbish! I remembered how we spent hours just to clean up a slight portion of that tinny borderline of the sea. To me, it felt like I have spent half a day in that rubbish dump. But as I said earlier in my previous previous post, time in Sabah lags laik shit for real. I think we hardly spent more than a couple of hours with the rubbish? zzz It was only after how the dead seaweeds started invading us and causing irritable swimming experience that we decided to get back up on the beach and forget about the rubbish.

^Best we could do =( Three diapers in total, four broken handphones in total, rice bag, two durians, all sorts of wrappers and plastic bags. Idiotic human beings. Its a goddamned sea, not your flipping room zzz

We were pretty down and frustrated by how the sea was not taken care of properly. But still, we paid for it, might as well try to enjoy it ;D So the rest started building sand castles. So cute *__* And I ran around with Rienne's DSLR stalking new models ;>

^ Arent they juz sweet *__* Thanks, mah dear models ;D Yoru as the kewl guy guard, RenRen as the kewl gal guard and dear Devilene as the sea creature + princess oho! Bear with us artists for those who have too much logic in their heads ;>

^ Mah legs after the photo/modelling session 8D I was practically rolling and kneeling around the beach oho XD

After photo/modelling session, RenRen and I went off to decontaminate our bodies. Yes, most of our chat had included bashing irresponsible peepal who is responsible for them dumps back in the sea. So, we explored a bit until we found this OTHER side of Manukan which is left UNCONTAMINATED. Oh, the joys! Who would have friggin knew?!

So both of us went back pretty hurriedly and got everyone else coming to the OTHER side of Manukan. Clean, clear, blue, salty sea water!! Thats what we were there for, damnit!

So yah, we basically has moar to see there. Dakeru videotaped what we could see in the sea without even needing to submerge into it. Thats more like it! But there were a whole loads of sea cucumbers.. Loads and loads and lots and lots of sea cucumbers.. Imagine stepping onto one of them -_____- There were countless fishes as well ^^ From time to time we get to see some corals with more exotic fishes in it, but of course, very rare.

Beautiful beautiful waterrrrrrrrr~~~! Devilene! I wanna go backkkkk ;___;;;;

Plus story: We managed to save three starfishes from evil Italian tourists whom baked them alive to be kept as decoration! 8D They should have locked that tourists in jail hmph. Thanks to RenRen who notices! =D And dun worry, the starfishes are still alive ^w^

^ Look at that sky.. *bliss*

More to come ;D
